Opera friends were met at the train station, Leipzig airport and bus station and stayed in a traditional grand 5-star German hotel. The Leipzig stage of the tour featured fully staged performances of the rare early Wagner operas: Das Liebesverbot, Die Feen and Rienzi at Leipzig Opera house.
